Depression is a treatable disease, that affects 3.8% of the global population. Sometimes described as the blues, depression can cause sleep disturbances, changes in eating patterns, uncontrollable sadness, and could lead to substance abuse, and anxiety. At its worst, depression can result in feelings of hopelessness, and thoughts of suicide.
Although those suffering with depression sometimes feel like they cannot see a way out of this hopelessness, with help, they can in fact go on to live happier and healthier lives.
This presentation focuses on providing a deeper understanding of what is depression, and how to cope with it, both personally, and if someone you care about is experiencing depressive symptoms.
I hope you find this information useful, and helpful.
Be well beautiful people!
